Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a high-volume cardiovascular operating room. This position is ideal for a candidate who is confident working in a fast-paced surgical environment and has strong experience supporting complex cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields.
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning properly.
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Surgical Technologist experience.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA).
• Strong cardiovascular surgery experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret EKG strips.
• Experience with CABG, valve procedures, and other open-heart surgeries preferred.
