Optometrist

We are seeking a part-time Optometrist (OD) to join our practice and support continued growth. This role is ideal for a clinician who values patient-centered care, enjoys autonomy in clinical decision-making, and prefers a private practice setting over high-volume corporate environments. Hourly compensation ranges from $70 - $100.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for adults and children
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease (dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, etc.)
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses
• Provide patient education and build strong doctor–patient relationships
• Collaborate with a friendly, experienced support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using our EHR

Ideal Candidate

• OD degree from an accredited optometry program
• Active Maryland optometry license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-first mindset
• Comfortable managing both routine and medical eye care
• Team-oriented, dependable, and personable
• New grads and experienced ODs encouraged to apply
