About this job
Job Description
We Don't Move Dirt. We Build Infrastructure.
THIS IS NOT A JOB FOR EVERYONE.
If you're looking for a place to hide in a machine all day, punch a clock, do the bare minimum, and go home...
This isn't for you.
If you're looking for a place where hard work matters, where production matters, where your teammates depend on you, and where every day presents a new challenge...
At Terraline, we're building something different.
We're building a team of operators, builders, problem solvers, and future leaders.
We're looking for Dirt Technicians who want more than a paycheck. People who take pride in accomplishing difficult things and aren't afraid to get dirty doing it.
WHO WE ARE
Terraline is a specialty excavation and infrastructure contractor.
We build:
- Water systems
- Sewer systems
- Septic systems
- Utility infrastructure
- Pump stations
- Lift stations
- Drain fields
- Underground utilities
- Commercial and residential excavation projects
Our work matters because when we're done, entire systems function because of what we built.
We don't build holes.
We build solutions.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are searching for individuals who:
- Thrive under pressure
- Enjoy solving problems
- Like learning new things
- Want to master a trade
- Take ownership of their work
- Show up ready to perform
- Can work hard without being told
- Care about quality
- Don't quit when things get difficult
You may already have experience running:
- Excavators
- Skid steers
- Loaders
- Dozers
- Rollers
- Backhoes
- Trucks and trailers
That's great.
But experience alone doesn't make someone a Terraline Dirt Technician.
Character does.
We're willing to train the right person.
We are NOT willing to train attitude.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF:
You think ahead.
You own outcomes.
You ask questions.
You pay attention.
You notice problems before they become problems.
You don't stand around waiting for instructions.
You understand that production matters.
You know that when one person slows down, the entire crew slows down.
You aren't above grabbing a shovel.
You aren't afraid of rain.
You aren't afraid of mud.
You aren't afraid of long days when the project requires it.
You believe the job isn't done until the work is complete.
YOU MAY NOT BE A GOOD FIT IF:
You need constant supervision.
You blame others.
You avoid difficult work.
You complain more than you solve.
You struggle to show up on time.
You think manual labor is beneath you.
You believe "good enough" is acceptable.
You quit & talk $*it when things become uncomfortable.
