Job Opportunity – EEG Technologist – Alaska
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 variable shifts; Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ambulatory clinic with rotating 24-hour on-call coverage; 1 weekend call per month; guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period

- Reduced orientation time with zero non-billable orientation hours required
- 407-bed acute care hospital offering advanced neurological diagnostic services
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of EEG technologist experience
- Current BLS and R.EEG.T certifications required
- Valid state license or pending license (allow 10-12 weeks for processing)
- Experience with adult ICU, ambulatory EEG, electrode placement, emergency department, NICU, PICU, portable recordings, seizure studies, sleep EEG, and long-term video monitoring
- Proficiency with ECI brain death protocols and EMG procedures preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Availability to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Hepatitis B vaccination required
