Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Maryland
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; On-call required 12-13 days per 6-week period (weekday call 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM; weekend call Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
Highlights:
- Fast-paced procedural environment averaging 280 cases per month across cardiac, vascular, and pain management specialties
- Four state-of-the-art procedure rooms equipped with Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites
- Diverse case mix including cardiac cath with/without intervention, STEMI, device implantations, EP studies with ablations, and peripheral vascular procedures
- Collaborative team structure with 2-3 teams of four during shifts; STEMI call team handles 8-12 cases monthly
- 40 guaranteed hours per week with consistent scheduling pattern
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, and ARRT (R)
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility while on call
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (no exemptions)
- Proficiency in angioplasty, PCI/PTCA, cardiac stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, and vascular interventions
- Experience with charting systems required; pacemaker experience and rhythm interpretation preferred
