Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist – West Virginia

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 8:30 PM); Weekend coverage 1 Friday evening through Monday morning every 4-5 weeks; Call coverage includes 2 weekday nights (7:00 PM – 6:30 AM) and weekend call rotation every 4-5 weeks with rotating 12-hour primary/secondary assignments

Highlights:

• High-volume cardiovascular lab performing 35-45 cases daily with comprehensive diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Advanced structural cardiology including TAVR, Watchman, valve repair procedures, and complex interventions
• Cutting-edge technology including Siemens Artis Z & Q equipment, Philips Volcano IVUS, Impella, IABP, and ECMO capabilities
• 1:1 staffing ratio ensuring focused patient care and safety
• Cerner EHR system with free parking provided for travelers
• Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds

Requirements:

• ARRT(R) and ARRT(BD) certification required (RCIS/RCES not accepted for this position)
• BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; must be competent in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures including structural cardiology
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred due to high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with LHC, RHC, PCI, CTO, Impella, IABP, ECMO, TPM, shockwave, IVUS, TAVR, Watchman, and related advanced procedures
• Active West Virginia state license or compact license required (pending license accepted for submission but must be active by start date)
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility location
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
