Job Opportunity – EEG Technologist – Alaska
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 variable shifts; Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ambulatory clinic with rotating 24-hour on-call coverage; 1 weekend call per month; guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period

- Reduced orientation period with zero non-billable hours versus standard 40-hour orientation
- Comprehensive scope including ambulatory EEG, long-term monitoring, portable recordings, and sleep studies
- Shared on-call rotation with collaborative team support 365 days per year
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an EEG Technologist
- Current BLS and R.EEG.T. certifications required
- Valid state licensure (pending licenses accepted with 10-12 week processing time)
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Skills in adult ICU, ambulatory EEG, electrode placement, long-term video monitoring, portable recording, seizure studies, and sleep-deprived EEG
- Experience with ECI brain death protocols, EMG, and neonatal/pediatric intensive care settings
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Availability to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
