Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) – Florida
Start Date: May 28, 2026
Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Evening/Night shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM. Includes rotating on-call shifts and rotating holidays.
Highlights:
- Work independently in a 2-room ultrasound department within a 257-bed acute care hospital
- Perform full range of general and vascular ultrasound procedures including ultrasound-guided interventions
- Utilize GE LOGIC 9 equipment with Meditech and Centricity PACS documentation systems
- ACR accredited facility for vascular ultrasound
- Join a hospital recognized for top-performing quality care with advanced stroke and cardiovascular services
- 13-week travel assignment with backfill coverage need
Requirements:
- ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
- Proficiency in all general and vascular ultrasound procedures
- Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainage, and ultrasound-guided interventions
- Ability to function independently and handle emergent procedures
- Strong customer service skills and commitment to exceptional patient experience
- Black scrubs required
