Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Willows, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while experiencing a new community. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care settings preferred.
- Documentation experience with standard therapy documentation systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current experience treating adults and geriatric populations in a skilled nursing environment.
- Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning.
- Prior travel clinician experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Work Days: Tuesday through Saturday schedule referenced in order notes.
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
- Guaranteed hours referenced as 35 per week in order notes.
