Join a skilled nursing facility in Pittsfield, MA as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a long-term care setting. Use established clinical protocols to support patient safety, functional communication, and quality of life while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Respond promptly to documentation and regulatory requirements for skilled nursing care.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
  • Active Massachusetts SLP license required prior to start.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including instrumental assessment familiarity preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and documentation in skilled nursing environments preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 0800-1630.
  • Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.
  • Candidate may be expected to follow facility floating policies within the organization as needed.
