About the Role 

Join a well-established Occupational Health program in Hampton Roads with a blend of clinical practice and leadership responsibility across two clinic sites. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong operational support, and the opportunity to help shape program growth within a large health system. 

 

Position Highlights 

  • Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule  
  • No call, nights, weekends, or holidays  
  • ~15 adult patients/day in a structured outpatient setting  
  • On-site X-ray + full clinical support (RN, LPN, CMA, X-ray tech)  
  • Established employer base + mature occupational health program  

 

Key Responsibilities (Clinical + Leadership) 

  • Provide full-spectrum Occupational Medicine care including DOT exams, pre-employment & return-to-work evaluations, workers’ comp/injury care, acute MSK issues + laceration repair, immunizations (flu/Hep B/Tdap/Tetanus), respirator/hazmat/fitness-for-duty exams, drug & alcohol testing (incl. MRO oversight if certified or willing to obtain)  
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, CDC, FMCSA, NFPA) + maintain quality standards across all occupational health services  
  • Provide clinical leadership across NP/PA providers (mentorship + oversight) and guide Designated Employer Representative (DER) workflows  
  • Support employer relationships, program development, and operational growth across Chesapeake + Denbigh clinics
