Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract position providing essential Occupational Therapy services within a supportive school setting! This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist eager to make an impact on students ranging from early childhood through high school. Student caseloads are thoughtfully assigned based on your area of expertise and preference, ensuring a fulfilling match that highlights your strengths.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
  • Background in school-based therapy or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with sensory integration techniques and progress monitoring for school-aged children
  • Flexibility and collaboration skills to support a variety of classroom environments, including both general education and resource support, as well as some special education settings

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Occupational Therapy services at two school sites, alternating locations (one site per day)
  • Promote student independence and participation with individualized interventions tailored to assigned age groups
  • Develop and implement therapy plans and measurable goals, maintaining thorough progress notes in compliance with school standards
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate the best outcomes for each student
  • Foster a welcoming, nurturing environment that empowers students to reach their developmental milestones
