Physical Therapist - School Setting in Kannapolis, NC

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role serves PreK through 12th grade in a school-based setting, providing dedicated care that helps students achieve their fullest potential. Although the exact site is yet to be determined, the position is conveniently located in the Concord, NC area and offers full-time hours beginning August 10, 2026, through June 1, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Physical Therapy license in North Carolina (documentation required for all applicants)
• Experience in a school environment (PreK–12th grade preferred)
• Familiarity with ECATS documentation and compliance systems
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Previous experience in school-based physical therapy is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students with a variety of needs across the district
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs
• Travel between assigned schools (location assignment to be determined)
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of treatment and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students’ functional mobility to access their educational environment
