• End Date: Open/Contract duration as needed
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00 am – 04:30 pm (Day shift); On call (HIGHLY PREFERRED weekends and overnight)
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing
• License/Certs: Minnesota license (or IMLC accepted), DEA, BLS, Hematology & Oncology Board Certification (both required)
• Experience: Malignant Hematology experience required

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized medical oncology and malignant hematology care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct infusion services and manage chemotherapy treatments
• Collaborate with a team of 2 MDs and 2 APPs to deliver seamless patient care
• Participate in on-call rotations to support inpatient services and continuity of care
• Document patient encounters thoroughly using Epic EMR
• Support hospital and infusion center operations, ensuring high-quality care standards
• Manage approximately 22-25 consults per day, providing expert guidance and treatment plans

What You Need:
Required:

• Minnesota medical license or IMLC
• Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology (both)
• DEA certification
• BLS certification
• Malignant Hematology experience

Preferred:

• Experience managing inpatient and infusion procedures
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This position is based at a 540-bed hospital in Saint Paul, MN, equipped with Epic EMR and a supportive clinical team. The role involves full-time coverage of hematology and oncology inpatient and outpatient care, including infusion services and on-call duty for inpatient continuity.
