Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary-aged students by providing expert occupational therapy services! An opportunity is available for an experienced, compassionate Occupational Therapist to support an elementary caseload during the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position is located near Berwyn, IL, and offers a structured schedule of 32.5 hours per week from August 2026 through May 2027.
Ideal Background and Experience:
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Illinois
- Previous experience working with elementary students is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of school-based OT processes, including IEP documentation and collaboration with educational staff
- Proficient in evaluation, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services for elementary students, helping them achieve their educational and functional goals
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
