School Occupational Therapist - Wausau, Wisconsin

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Wisconsin
• Experience delivering OT services in school settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
• Home Health OT experience is a plus
• Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Commitment to fostering student independence and success

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students based on IEPs and assessment findings
• Implement interventions that address fine motor skills, sensory processing, adaptive functioning, and assistive technology
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families
• Adapt therapy delivery for in-person, virtual, and home-based environments as assigned
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team sessions, and professional development
