Qualifications:

• Active Mississippi OT licensure required
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity working with Pre K to high school age groups
• Strong organizational skills for managing an itinerant schedule
• Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered approach are essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students on your caseload, promoting participation and independence in school routines
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff
• Travel between school sites to deliver services as an itinerant therapist
• Maintain accurate, timely records for all sessions, progress notes, and evaluations
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development
• Offer training and support to staff and caregivers regarding accommodations and strategies
