Occupational Therapist School Setting in Manchester, GA

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to make a significant impact in a supportive educational setting! Work with a small group of elementary students and contribute to their growth and independence in a part-time, flexible role. The assignment runs from August 3rd, 2026 through May 26th, 2027, with the potential to transition from contract to hire for the right fit.

This position is based near Manchester, GA and focuses on a manageable caseload of five elementary students, including one student who uses a wheelchair. Enjoy a meaningful and rewarding experience in a welcoming school environment while working approximately 10–15 hours per week.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Georgia OT license required
• Prior experience working in schools, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings
• Direct experience supporting wheelchair-bound students essential
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and individualized interventions for elementary-age students
• Develop, update, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt therapy strategies to accommodate mobility needs, including wheelchair access
• Provide consultation and training for staff and families to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
