Physician Obstetrics & Gynecology - Competitive Salary

Locums | OBGYN | Clinic + Beeper Call | Hood River, OR (Oregon license)Why This Role

• Ongoing, long-term need with flexible structure — full-time OR job-share (1 week on/1 off, or 2 weeks on/2 off)
• Light call burden: typically 0–2 deliveries on a 24-hour call shift, sometimes none
• Well-supported clinic — 2 RNs and 4 MAs on staff
• Balanced mix of OB and outpatient GYN, Epic EMR
Assignment Details
• Start: September 1, 2026 — ongoing
• Setting: outpatient clinic + inpatient
• Clinic: Mon / Tue / Thu / Fri, 8am–5pm (~15 patients/shift)
• Call: ~8 beeper-call shifts/month (split between providers if two are confirmed) — sporadic, not necessarily back-to-back; includes one 24-hour weekend shift (7am–7am) plus weekday night call (5pm–7am)
• Call response time: 20–30 minutes
• Support staff: 2 RNs, 4 MAs
• EMR: Epic
Clinical Details
• Required: low-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasound (Level I/screening), routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, c-section decision-making), complicated delivery (c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, office/minor GYN (IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
• Preferred: high-risk pregnancy, surgical GYN (open, laparoscopic minor, operative/major)
• Both OB and GYN privileges needed — GYN coverage is in case an emergency ectopic comes up, plus in-office procedures and minor GYN/OR surgeries
Requirements
• Board certified or board eligible (within 3–5 years)
• Active Oregon license
• DEA required
• BLS and NRP
Compensation
