Physician Hematology/Oncology - Competitive Salary

Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Coastal Maine (ME license or IMLC)Why This Role

• No call, no weekends
• 4-day work week (Tuesday-Friday), 8-hour days
• Defined 6-month assignment starting ASAP
• Strong support: 2 physicians, 2 APPs, plus nursing/team support
• Bone marrow biopsies performed by APPs (optional for physician)
• IMLC accepted
Assignment Details
• Start: ASAP, initial 6-month contract
• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 8-hour days, no weekends, no call
• Volume: 10-15 patients/day, mix of new and follow-up
• Patient population: adults
• Setting: Outpatient
• Single-site practice
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Occasional rotating fellow
Clinical Details
• General hematology and oncology — broad diagnostic range
• Comfort with benign hematology required (significant referral volume)
• Bone marrow biopsies optional (performed by APPs)
• In-basket message management through Epic
• Phone consultation for outside providers
Requirements
• Board Certified in Hematology and/or Oncology (either or both)
• Active ME license or IMLC
• Epic experience required
• Covid and flu vaccination
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
• Malpractice provided
• Travel reimbursed
