Locums | OB/GYN Laborist | L&D, 7a–7p + Overnight Call | Warren, OH (Ohio license)Why This Role

• Ongoing need starting ASAP — laborist model covering L&D
• Clean shift structure: physicians 7a–7p, with physician call backup for the midwife overnight (7p–7a)
• OH license or willing to obtain — widens the candidate pool
• Level III NICU, onsite lab and ultrasound, RN/CNM support; Epic EMR
Assignment Details
• Coverage: ongoing, starting as soon as possible (until permanent hires are in place)
• Setting: L&D unit (inpatient); GYN limited to ER coverage for unassigned patients
• Schedule: physician shifts 7a–7p; physician provides call coverage for the midwife 7p–7a
• EMR: Epic
• NICU: Level III
• Credentialing: ~120 days
Clinical Details
• OB: low- and high-risk pregnancy management
• L&D: routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, c-section decision-making), complicated delivery (c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions), VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• GYN: laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOAs), open surgical gynecology; ER coverage for unassigned GYN
Requirements
• Board certified or board eligible
• Active Ohio license (or willing to obtain)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Self-query NPDB (pulled within 30 days), required at presentation
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
