Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
Our established cancer center offers a collaborative and patient-focused environment. The practice primarily addresses oncology cases, with approximately 80% of the patient mix being solid tumor diagnoses. The clinic is structured to ensure new solid tumor cases are seen within a week of referral, ensuring timely patient care. While the primary focus is outpatient care, inpatient responsibilities are limited to admissions for chemotherapy when necessary.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The role offers a choice between a 4 or 5-day work week, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the flexibility of an administrative day or half-day as needed. The position requires participation in a 1:4 call schedule, including one weekend per month. The workweek is structured from Sunday to Saturday, providing a structured and predictable schedule. Initial orientation includes four hours of EPIC training, crucial for seamless integration into the team.
Support and Work Environment
Join a well-supported team with three existing physicians and two APPs, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care. Qualifications
- Board Certification in both Hematology and Oncology is required.
- Possession of an active Oregon medical license is highly preferred.
- Applicants must have a clean professional background with no history of malpractice.
- Access to a CAQH profile is required at the time of offer.
- DEA certification and recent NPDB self-query are mandatory at the time of presentation.
