Make a meaningful impact by providing dedicated one-on-one occupational therapy support for a male elementary student. This rewarding contract position offers the flexibility of in-person or virtual (voco) sessions, continuing a supportive model from last year. With a manageable 1-2 hours per week, this is a fantastic opportunity to focus your expertise and make a real difference in a student’s educational journey.

Preferred background includes experience in both school-based and pediatric OT settings. Candidates who are creative in their therapeutic approaches, skilled in collaborating with education teams, and comfortable adapting sessions to the unique needs of students will thrive in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Experience in a school setting, specifically with individualized plans
  • Comfort with both in-person and virtual therapy delivery models
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP-driven therapy goals
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • A caring and patient approach to supporting student development

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 occupational therapy tailored to a male elementary student
  • Conduct weekly sessions (1-2 hours total) using evidence-based strategies
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
  • Document progress and communicate regularly with teachers and caregivers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development

This unique part-time opportunity allows you to use your OT expertise in a flexible, supportive environment, whether you prefer in-person interaction or virtual service delivery. Your work will play a key role in empowering a student to achieve greater independence and success in the classroom.
