Remote Tax Manager - Now Hiring

Our client, an innovative and rapidly growing tax technology company, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager (CPA/EA) to join their fully remote team. This firm specializes in delivering premium tax solutions to closely-held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and investors—leveraging proprietary technology alongside a team of in-house experts.

As a Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role, overseeing tax associates, managing complex client engagements, and ensuring high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 tax associates, manage workflow across multiple deadlines, and provide guidance on complex tax matters
• Meet directly with clients to review tax positions, provide strategic guidance, and maintain strong relationships
• Review complex returns (1120S, 1065, 1040) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal tax outcomes
• Analyze complex tax issues and stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations
• Help streamline workflows and contribute to internal best practices and training materials

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of tax experience with S-Corps (1120S), partnerships (1065), and individual returns (1040)
• 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring tax staff
• CPA, EA, or Tax Attorney designation required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax law
• Ability to simplify complex tax concepts for both clients and internal teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with C-Corps (1120), trusts & estates, and gift tax
• Exposure to private equity or venture capital fund structures
