Software Engineer Lead- New York, NY- Lead tech direction, training, & design for the firm's convex pricing models. Design, engr & maintain compute cluster tooling for algo devs in C++ & Python. Dev highly perfmnt & reliable monitoring frmwrks for a distrib compute cluster, integrating 3rd party tools. Engr scalable data storage & distrib sys to supp perf of adv stat analysis. Ensure that ntwk ops, data storage & distrib server sys are maintained to max levels. Mentor jr. SW engrs & lead a team of a min of 3 sw engrs in the dvlpmnt of highly prop apps & sw sys. WFH permissible. Reqs: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci, Electrical Engg, Comp Engg, or a closely rel quant field, plus 2 years of exp in the pos offered, Lead Infrastructure Programmer (Core Dev- Lead), Core Dev or rel exp. All req'd exp must have included: Exp dvlping & maintaining sw tools in C++ & Python to monitor & control a low-lat blended hw & sw trading sys. Exp w/ trblshting sys in sw & hw to resolve op issues.
