Position Details

• Location: Oxon Hill, MD (must be able to reliably work this site)
• Schedule: Weekends, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Status: Part-Time
• Pay: $27.00 per hour
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for overtime and additional shifts at other sites

Oxon Hill coverage is required; additional site opportunities may be available based on performance and availability.

About the Role

As an Armed Protective Services Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires professionalism, strong judgment, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe and report all incidents and irregularities
• Provide a visible, professional armed security presence
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor assigned areas
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and clients

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security or protective services experience (required)
• Must reside in or near Oxon Hill, MD
• Valid Maryland Guard Card
• Valid Maryland Handgun Permit (Wear & Carry Permit)
• Strong observational and decision-making skills
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability
