Delivery Driver $1,100+ WEEKLY
We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating furniture trucks, delivering furniture to residential and commercial customers, and providing excellent customer service.
- Responsibilities
- Safely operate straight trucks/box trucks while adhering to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weather conditions.
- Properly load, unload, and secure furniture, appliances, boxes, and equipment to prevent damage during transport.
- Move heavy furniture and appliances using dollies, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques.
- Interact professionally with residential and commercial customers, confirm deliveries, and obtain required signatures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and overall vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery documentation, and expense reports.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and professionally.
Key Requirements:
- Experience operating furniture trucks required.
- Class B CDL preferred but not required.
- Clean driving record required.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture and appliances.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
- Must successfully complete a road test.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
