Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a combined Obstetrics/Med-Surg position requiring L&D, postpartum, and recovery experience, with night shifts and flexibility to float to med-surg.
Details
- Combined OB and Med-Surg unit within a hospital setting
- OB unit covers labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery
- Nurses are expected to float to the med-surg floor when there are no obstetric patients
- Night shift schedule, working every third weekend
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Iowa (IA) or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Certifications: NRP, PALS, BLS/BCLS, ACLS
- Experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery required
- Must be comfortable floating to a med-surg floor
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include caring for obstetric patients across labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery phases
- When OB census is low, nurses will be assigned to med-surg patients
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
