Salary: $68,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities:
- Design, sell and order cabinetry projects
- Cultivate relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction and achieve sales goal set
- Take on multiple design projects at once from various project managers and Cape Associates clients
- Take projects from schematic design to permit level and construction documents
- Design work will range from millwork fabrication drawings to moderately sized residential renovations.
- Individual is responsible for all necessary field measurements and accuracy of such
- Communicate with engineers, interior designers, town officials, Cape Associates Wood Shop employees, vendors, subcontractors, and any other people involved in the design projects
- Homeowner direct interaction
- Management of multiple kitchen/bath projects simultaneously throughout the year
- Sales goal for first 12 months is set upon hiring and is anticipated to grow annually.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of three years experience within kitchen and bath design.
- Previous experience with leading cabinetry brands.
- Must have experience estimating projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to thrive in an energetic and fast paced environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to work independently or as a team.
- Passion and appreciation for residential design field.
- Willingness to learn, detail orientated, self-motivated, organized.
- High level of customer service and client relations.
- Must be proficient in 20/20.
- Experience with Mozaik, AutoCAD, and SketchUp is preferred.
- Must be experienced in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
- Must be proficient with virtual and/or in-person meetings.
Physical Requirements:
- This is largely a sitting role, however, some standing and movement is required. Walking, and inspecting jobsites as needed, and occasionally access eaves, attics, and crawlspaces, to collect the necessary as-built information. This includes the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend/stand, as necessary.
