Job Summary

HiHealthCare is seeking dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our per diem team. This role offers the flexibility to work across a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, correctional facilities, juvenile detention centers, clinics, and hospitals. Ideal for CNAs who value flexible scheduling, diverse clinical experience, and making a meaningful impact in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
  
  
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
  
  
• Assist nurses and healthcare providers with basic procedures and patient care tasks as assigned.
  
  
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
  
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
  
  
• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  
  
• Adapt quickly to different facility environments, policies, and patient populations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Hawaii.
  
  
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a facility-based setting (LTC, hospital, clinic, or similar) preferred.
  
  
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
  
  
• Ability to work in diverse healthcare settings, including corrections or juvenile facilities, as assigned.
  
  
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
  
  
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently when needed.
