(USA) Sales Executive

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 annual base salary (DOE)

Description/Function:

1.PerformallactivitiesregardingmarketingandsalesofMEC(USA)simport/export/customshousebrokerageservicesinadesignatedgeographicallocation.

2.Generatenewbusinessandserviceexistingaccountsbytargetplanning,conducting,reviewingandreportingpersonalsalesperformance.

3.Provideinputandimplementsalesandmarketingstrategies.

4.WorkcloselywithOperationstoensureproperhandlingofcustomersfreightanddocumentation.

5.PromptlyrespondasdirectedtocustomerRFQsandsimilarproposalsmadepublicbyrecurrent,new,andpotentialcustomers.

6.Workcloselywithaccountingtoensureallaccountreceivablesandaccountpayablesareproperlycredited,billedandpaid.

7.Helpgenerateandproductivelyuseup-to-daterecordsontariff/contractratesonavailablecarriers(airlines,ocean,inland/interstatetrucking,etc.).

8.Provideweeklydepartmentsalesproductivityreportandserviceirregularityreports.

9.PerformotherdutiesasassignedbyDistrictManager.

Qualifications:

1.B.A.orB.S.degreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity.MinimumA.A.degreecombinedwithanincreasedamountofindustry/companyexperiencemaybesubstituted.Ahighschooldiplomamaybeconsideredaslongasthecandidateshowsextensivehistoryinindustrymanagementandadministration.

2.Minimumoffiveyears'experienceinfreightforwardingindustryinasalesorcustomerserviceassignment.

3.Provenexperienceinsimilartransportationindustry-relatedcompanies.

4.Excellentsalesandcustomerrelationskills.AbilitytoNegotiateanddevelopcontracts,especiallywithseniorlevels.

5.Knowledgeoftermsandjargonthatvendors,carriersandcustomersuseinthefreightforwardingindustry.

6.ExcellentVerbalandwrittencommunicationskills.

7.Attentiontodetail,deadline-oriented,dependable,persistence,timemanagement,independent,documentationskills,schedulingandreportingskills.

8. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
