POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Sales & Marketing Manager Classification: Hourly, Non-exempt
Status: Full-time, Regular
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Owner, the Marketing and Sales Manager is responsible for leading and executing all marketing and sales efforts to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s customer base. This role will independently develop and implement sales strategies, manage client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. This position requires a self-starter who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, using data and market insights to optimize performance and deliver measurable results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Business Development
● Drive revenue growth by managing the full sales lifecycle—from initial inquiry and relationship building to proposal development and project close.
● Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to luxury clientele, including homeowners, developers, and hospitality partners.
● Identify and cultivate new business opportunities that align with PICS’ brand, including high-end residential projects and strategic partnerships.
● Track sales performance, maintain pipeline visibility, and provide insights to support business planning and growth.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Experience
● Develop and execute elevated marketing strategies that showcase PICS’ craftsmanship, innovation, and luxury aquatic lifestyle offerings.
● Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns across digital, social media, email, and select traditional platforms, highlighting completed projects, design capabilities, and client experiences.
● Conduct market research to understand high-end residential and commercial client preferences, emerging design trends, and competitive positioning within the luxury pool and outdoor living market.
● Maintain and elevate PICS’ brand identity by ensuring consistent, polished messaging and visual storytelling across all channels and materials.
Client Experience & Relationship Management
● Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, delivering a highly personalized and elevated customer experience.
● Build lasting relationships grounded in trust, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of each client’s vision and lifestyle.
● Guide clients through the design and build journey, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded from concept through completion.
Budgeting & Performance Management
● Manage marketing and sales budgets with a focus on strategic investment and measurable return.
● Analyze ROI across campaigns and sales efforts to optimize performance and resource allocation.
● Utilize analytics and reporting tools to monitor KPIs, track growth, and inform decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities
● Perform other duties as assigned to support PICS’ continued growth, reputation, and commitment to excellence.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
● This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Demonstrated success in both marketing and sales, preferably within luxury, construction, design, or high-end service industries.
● Proven ability to independently develop and execute strategies, manage projects, and drive revenue growth.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking abilities.
● Flexible/Adaptable: Maintains effectiveness in varying work environments where circumstances and priorities are changing.
● Ability to interact with people in a confident, professional, diplomatic, team-oriented manner.
● Ability to problem solve and address conflict in a professional manner.
● Ability to work independently, self-motivated, resourceful.
● Familiarity with the Hawaiʻi market and an understanding of local culture, relationships, and business practices.
● Proficiency with Google Office platforms and Microsoft Office

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
● 5+ years of experience in marketing and sales with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
● Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle independently, from lead generation to closing.
● Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, and/or traditional).
● Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
● Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing platforms, and basic data analysis.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
● Must speak and write in fluent English.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
● A current and valid Hawaii driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

COMPENSATION
● This is an hourly position with a range of $30.00-$40.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
