About the Position

Our client in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 5-day assignment, commencing Jul 26, 2026. This role involves managing a comprehensive scope of obstetrics and gynecology procedures, from high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries to operative and minor gynecological interventions, while working structured 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform operative and major gynecological procedures, including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA’s, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures like tubal ligation, and open surgical gynecology.
• Conduct office and minor gynecological procedures such as IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
• Manage low-risk pregnancies, including cases with a history of twins, toxemia, or pyelonephritis.
• Provide care for high-risk pregnancies involving conditions like toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiac issues, chronic lung problems, or chronic renal disease.
• Interpret Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) through NST/CST/FSE.
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds, including Level I/Screening (Viability) and Level II/Targeted (Anatomic) ultrasounds.
• Execute routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries.
• Make critical decisions for C-sections.
• Manage complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions.
• Perform VBAC’s (Vaginal Birth After C-section).
• Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
• Work 24-hour shifts (8am - 8am).
