About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Anesthesiology CRNA in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104!

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthetist for a 95-day assignment in Oklahoma, commencing Aug 31, 2026. This full-time role, requiring 40 hours weekly, involves providing safe, age-appropriate anesthesia care, meticulously monitoring patients during surgeries and medical procedures, conducting thorough pre and post-anesthetic evaluations, and ensuring comprehensive perioperative support to patients and the surgical team.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide safe, age-appropriate anesthesia in accordance with clinical privileges approved by the Anesthesia Department Chairman.
  • Administer anesthesia and continuously monitor patients throughout surgical and other medical procedures.
  • Perform and document comprehensive pre and post-anesthetic evaluations.
  • Obtain informed consent for anesthesia procedures.
  • Manage induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care.
  • Offer consultation on airway management and participate in codes under the direction of a supervising anesthesiologist.
  • Provide supportive assistance and guidance to residents and medical students rotating through anesthesia.
  • Coordinate and deliver patient care within a hospital setting, reporting to the nurse manager/director/clinical leader.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare team members, including students.
  • Maintain accountability for patient safety, identify and resolve issues, and integrate evidence-based practices into care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Lead and coordinate inter-professional teams, delegate tasks appropriately, and collaborate effectively to integrate nursing knowledge into patient care.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology required.
  • EMR: Epic.
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Windows-style applications for data entry and retrieval is necessary.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are paramount.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential 24/7, weekend, holiday, or on-call availability.
