About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician for an urgent 90-day assignment in Louisiana, beginning Sep 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be pivotal in a department, focusing on assigned patient rounding and expertly managing remote admissions through the transfer center. This position offers a chance to work with a diverse range of high-acuity cases, including pre-transplant, LVAD, and post-transplant patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform assigned patient rounding
• Comfortably accept admissions remotely through the transfer center
• See pre-transplant cases
• Manage LVAD patients
• Care for post-transplant patients
• Handle other high-acuity cases

• Board Certifications: Internal Medicine, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
