Pharmacy Technician (Inpatient) – Requirements

• Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Sterile compounding experience required
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Pyxis medication dispensing system experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management
• Ability to restock medication dispensing cabinets and emergency/code trays
• Experience handling medication messages and pharmacy communications
• Ability to work variable day shifts and every other weekend
• Must be available for the full orientation period
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
