Aquent Studios is looking for an experienced UX Designer to create intuitive and effective user experiences for onbe of its top clients in the Manufacturing/Technology space. This role is located either onsite at the client facility in Urbandale, IA, or may be remote.
What You Will Do:
* Design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and deliver detailed specification documents
* Collaborate with product management, engineering, and UX teams to align on user experience goals
* Conduct design thinking workshops with stakeholder groups
* Collaborate with UX researchers on product discovery, design and validation
* Present designs to stakeholders
What Skills You Need:
* Two or more years of experience applying User-Centered Design principles to moderately complex interface problems
* Two or more years of visual interface design as applied to web, mobile, or in-vehicle displays
* Two or more years of experience working with cross-functional teams, such as: engineering, software development, marketing and business leaders
* Two or more years of experience translating customer needs into design and articulating that design to technical and non-technical team members
* Two or more years of experience with technology and product development processes
* High proficiency with at least two design and rapid-prototyping tools, such as: Sketch, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, or InVision to create user interfaces
What Makes You Stand Out
* A strong portfolio of UI visual design, task flows, and designing to solve user problems
* Two years of experience with Figma design and prototyping
* AI assisted prototyping
* Experience using UX metrics and a user-centered design process to provide insights to product engineering groups
* Experience applying design principles in terms of user flows, accessibility, visual hierarchy, and brand influence
* Demonstrated ability to utilize prototyping, user flows, storyboards and/or existing research to provide insights to design ahead of high-fidelity design delivery
* Experience designing for construction or agriculture in-vehicle interfaces
Bachelor's degree in a Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interaction / Visual Design, or related field discipline or equivalent experience
