Key Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of the Paraprofessional Assessment, or an Associate degree or higher
• Valid paraprofessional certification
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Experience supporting students in classroom or special education settings a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with instructional preparation and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with varying needs
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
• Support students during classroom, lunch, and recess activities
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Document student progress and communicate updates to teaching staff
• Adapt quickly and respond to dynamic classroom needs
