Senior Compliance Administrator

 

Position: Senior Compliance Administrator
Location: Hartford, CT, Onsite 5 days a week
Salary: up to $90,000 

Overview:

Seeking a Senior Compliance Administrator to lead security and compliance efforts. This role manages audit activities, ensures certification readiness, and drives compliance initiatives, end to end, while serving as the main point of contact for audits.

Responsibilities:

- Lead audit lifecycle activities including SOC 2, PCI, and client audits
- Maintain audit schedules and ensure milestones and deadlines are met
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors
- Collect, organize, and submit audit evidence
- Track and drive remediation of audit findings
- Oversee compliance program operations and maintain documentation
- Ensure consistent and repeatable compliance processes
- Support and enhance security awareness training
- Coordinate penetration testing and phishing simulations and report results
- Manage patching cycles, system updates, and vulnerability remediation
- Track security initiatives and provide visibility into risks and timelines
- Support SIEM monitoring, alert review, and improvements
- Develop reports and dashboards on compliance status and audit readiness
- Communicate progress, risks, and key metrics to stakeholders
- Lead security meetings and coordinate cross functional efforts
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity testing

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in compliance, audit, IT, or security program roles
- Experience with SOC 2, PCI, or similar frameworks
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Knowledge of security practices such as access control and vulnerability management
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with tools like Splunk, Tenable, Excel, or Power BI preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or Security plus are a plus
