Travelling Superintendent - Commercial
Location: Projects in IN, MN, NM, OH, KS, plus other states
Salary: $120K-$150K Base (salary depends on experience)
A well-established, growth-oriented general contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial ground-up and renovation work is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on projects ranging from mid-size to large-scale commercial builds.
The Role
The Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site leader, owning day-to-day field execution from mobilization through closeout. This person sets the tone for safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor performance on their projects.
Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities, subcontractor coordination, and self-perform crews
Maintain and enforce the project schedule, identifying and resolving issues before they impact delivery
Enforce OSHA compliance and company safety standards across all site personnel
Conduct daily site reports, RFI tracking, and document control through Procore or equivalent
Serve as the primary field liaison with the Project Manager, owners, inspectors, and design team
Drive quality control and ensure work meets plan specifications and project standards
Qualifications
5+ or more years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial or concrete construction projects
Experience with ground up Trucking , Automotive, Car Dealerships experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and self-perform crews simultaneously
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
Strong communicator with a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
Ground-up commercial experience required; design-build experience a plus
