Attorney - Workers' Comp, PI

Established (100+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Plaintiff Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation in Richmond, VA

 

An established Virginia-based firm with over 100 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation experience to join its team in Richmond. This Attorney will work on plaintiff-side injury matters and will handle litigation, negotiations, and client representation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations while advocating for injured clients.

Salary range: $110,000-$130,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications:

Possess 3-5+ years of plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation experience

Hold experience conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and preparing motions and pleadings

Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Show the ability to manage cases in a fast-paced and technology-forward environment

Maintain active Virginia Bar membership in good standing

 

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury and/or workers' compensation matters from intake through resolution or trial

Conduct written discovery and take and defend depositions

Prepare motions, pleadings, and detailed case assessments

Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trial

Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop evidence-driven case strategies

Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure exceptional service throughout the duration of their cases
