Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing on-site tire service, repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance for commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, and capable of working independently while delivering excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial truck and trailer tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Remove, repair, replace, and install tires on commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment.
• Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and roadside tire service as needed.
• Repair tire punctures and evaluate tire condition for continued serviceability.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on trailers and related equipment.
• Perform basic trailer repairs including brakes, air systems, lighting systems, suspension components, axles, and landing gear.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT-related service standards.
• Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service work.

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial truck and trailer tire service experience.
• Experience performing tire repairs, replacements, mounting, and preventative maintenance.
• Working knowledge of trailer brake systems, air systems, lighting systems, and landing gear.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Preferred

• Experience working with farm equipment, RV trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and related machinery.
• Mechanical experience beyond tire service.
