American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a diagnostic radiology setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current CRT and ARRT-R credentials.
Details- Work in a hospital-based Diagnostic Radiology unit
- Performs CT and diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and HFAP/TJC/CMS, State and Federal regulations
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Current CRT (California Radiologic Technology license) required
- ARRT-R certification required
- Current BLS required (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES
- Must obtain a fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire
- Must obtain a venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire
- Proficient computer skills required
- Familiarity with State and Federal radiology regulations required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulatory standards
- Functions as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing their imaging needs
- Participates in PI/QC activities
- Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS
