Job Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality post-anesthesia patient care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring safe recovery following surgical procedures. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, patient education, accurate documentation, and adherence to professional nursing standards. Candidates may be required to float within their competency and participate in on-call coverage based on department needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assess and monitor patients during the post-anesthesia recovery phase. \n
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. \n
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. \n
- Monitor patient recovery and respond to changes in condition. \n
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery. \n
- Coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. \n
- Delegate tasks appropriately while supervising support staff. \n
- Refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment when necessary. \n
- Float to other units within scope of practice as needed. \n
- Participate in on-call coverage when required. \n
