American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift, Monday–Friday outpatient/inpatient position requiring PET/CT experience and ARRT or CNMT certification.
Details- Outpatient clinic-based setting with a primarily oncology-focused imaging scope
- Imaging modalities include whole-body FDG PET, Brain PET, limited cardiac PET, and neuroendocrine imaging
- Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends; 5x8-hour day shifts
- Monday–Thursday shifts are based at the primary imaging location with shift times of either 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, communicated in advance
- Friday shifts float to a nearby Nuclear Medicine/PET department (directly across the street) with a variable first-shift start time based on operational needs
- Work schedule is posted the prior month and shift times are communicated in advance
- ARRT or CNMT certification required
- Current BLS required
- Minimum PET/CT experience required
- IV start proficiency required
- PACS experience required
- Both outpatient and inpatient experience required
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references required for consideration: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees of the facility are eligible to apply once they have been away for 6 months or more
- RTO must be requested at time of submission and built into the contract; RTO is limited to 7 days or fewer
- Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as soon as possible upon receipt
- Grey scrubs preferred; scrubs are not provided
