American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of experience, ACLS certification, and an active SC or compact RN license.
Details- Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab setting within a hospital environment
- Also covers the IR holding department, including pre- and post-procedure care
- Adult patient population with a variety of disease processes
- Primary schedule is 4x9-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional 5x8-hour shifts as needed
- Rotating evening, night, and weekend call required
- Holiday call rotation required
- Meditech EMR in use
- PACS experience is preferred
- Active SC RN license or compact license with SC privileges currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab required
- Required skills: IV insertion, circulating, telemetry, and conscious sedation
- Hemodynamic monitoring experience required
- TB test required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Clean background with no background hits or licensure actions
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Provides procedural nursing care in the Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab setting, including pre- and post-procedure care in the IR holding department
