Location: 100% Remote
Pay: $51.03/hour plus paid weekly!
Start Date: Tentatively August 10
Schedule: Contract to Hire | Monday to Friday, must be available during Central Time Zone business hours
About the Role:
We are seeking an engaging and energetic Learning & Development Specialist to support employee onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in front of an audience, enjoys building relationships, and has a passion for helping others learn and grow. You will facilitate virtual and instructor-led training programs, develop learning materials, evaluate training effectiveness, and partner with business leaders to drive employee performance and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging virtual instructor-led training (vILT) and in-person learning sessions for new hires and existing employees.
• Create a positive and welcoming learning environment that enhances the employee onboarding experience.
• Support training and skills development programs within a call center and customer-focused environment.
• Deliver training programs in alignment with business priorities and evolving operational needs.
• Partner with Learning Business Partners and stakeholders to support learning and development strategies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend curriculum enhancements based on learner feedback and performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, job aids, user guides, quick reference guides, and assessments.
• Stay current on learning and development trends and implement best practices into training programs.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and consult with business partners on learning solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of learning and development.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Facilitation, Employee Development, or a related field.
• Strong experience facilitating virtual and/or in-person training sessions.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning evaluation techniques.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage learners with varying levels of experience, education, and technical knowledge.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with changing business needs.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
