We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures across our digital infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our networks, cloud environments, and sensitive data against sophisticated cyber threats. You will collaborate closely with DevOps, Full Stack Engineering, and IT Project Management teams to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into every stage of our software development and operational lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure company systems align with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR). Develop and maintain internal security policies and documentation.
- Security Awareness: Educate internal staff on security best practices, social engineering risks (such as phishing), and operational security protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or network security.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Highly preferred certifications include CISSP, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA Security+, or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional).
- Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of the CIA Triad, Zero Trust Architecture, TCP/IP networking, cryptographic protocols, and secure coding practices.
- Tools: Proficient with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk), firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and modern collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Jira.
- Communication: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical security risks clearly to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
Benefits & Perks
- Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to keep you and your family healthy.
- Retirement Planning: Robust 401(k) program with a competitive company match to help secure your financial future.
- Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling with Full-time and Part-time availability options, alongside generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and observed holidays.
- Professional Growth: Continuous learning opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and support for maintaining top-tier security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CCSP).
