The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB) is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Line Cook to join our kitchen team! OMB has won Charlotte's Top Workplaces three years in a row and offers an incredible culture for all team members. Our BrauHaus kitchen and outside Garden Grill are staffed seven days a week and support our regular food service, seasonal festivals, and frequent onsite private catered events. Our kitchen team is part of the daily tip-out pool too!

The Position Specifics

 The OMB Line Cook ensures that each OMB food item is prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship. The responsibilities of this position include:

Weekend work is a critical part of the Line Cook’s responsibilities. Candidates should be flexible to work holidays and all special events as needed with advance notice.Ensure that all stations remain stocked before and during the meal period.Follow all recipes and guidelines set forth by kitchen management and ensures proper cooking techniques and knife skills.Follow food service guidelines set forth by the health department.Perform additional duties, although not detailed, as requested by the Executive Chef.Requests off must be verbally stated to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef with sufficient time to source a replacement shift.Ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
