As a Security Officer Morning Campus Patrol in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an education location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with checking credentials, directing foot traffic, and addressing visitor questions while following site instructions and post orders.
• Support campus operations during scheduled events, class hours, and after-hours activity by remaining visible, communicating with appropriate contacts, and assisting with security-related concerns as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
